Welcome to Le Must Residence. Truly the ultimate luxury riverfront guesthouse to stay in Upington. The Residence has been completely renovated in September 2019. The gardens have been re-done, and all rooms, lounges and diningroom are elegant, light and and truly beautiful. The Residence is reminiscent of the great Italian villas of the Lake Garda district of Italy and is lush with antiquities, heirlooms and an eclectic mix of modern furniture and other treasures collected from all over the world. Beautiful South African art works adorn the walls. The regal 850m, double story guesthouse is situated in a large garden, lush with tall trees and beautiful plants where the songs of many different bird species mingle with the sounds of the river. Listen to the calls of the Fish Eagles, the hoot-hoot of the resident owls. Watch the incredible sunset and sunrises over the Orange River. Enjoy the Lady Anne Barnard pool set in the river front garden. The eleven guest bedrooms are a haven of peace and tranquillity and will host you with comfort. The rooms vary in size and are individually decorated with a mixture of carefully sourced antique and contemporary furniture. In addition all rooms have white percale linen, private entrancess, DSTV, WI-FI and air-conditioning. The presidential suite has a beautiful view over the oval swimming pool and beyond that, the Orange River. We are proud to be a non-hotel property. We offer a set menu country dinner served at 19:00 in the diningroom. You will love our friendly, local staff and our unpretentious Northern Cape hospitality. We do look forward to welcome you as our guests and promise that you will treasure your stay for many years to come. Hanna, Niël, Amanda, Hilda and Elenor.
You will love our relaxed ambiance and comfortable accommodation – and although it is a regal home with a lauded ambiance, redolent with yesteryear patina, heirlooms and treasures acquired on travels all over the globe, there is no pretentiousness, rather a subtle elegance.
Our promise: you will treasure your time spent in our residence and return year after year.
